Digital Consultant

As a Digital Consultant I believe my duty of care lies with the education of my clients. Lets face it, theres no better way to know what you’re paying for than to know a little bit about what to expect right?

Now I know many would think I’m crazy wanting to tell people how to do part of what I do. I here it all the time, “you should be protecting your income”, “you should be maintaining long term clients”, “what about monthly retainers” etc etc. Here’s my theory.

If I take on a new client, I take them on wholeheartedly. This means analysing your existing platforms, improving on them or setting up new ones, minimising spend where we can and educating you on a go forward plan to ensure success. So here’s the thing….. If I analyse, improve and set up your digital platforms to start with then I have fullfillled my promise to analyse and improve. Then by educating you on the parts of your digital strategy you can do yourself I have achieved spend minimisation and if by doing all of this, I end up with a shorter term client, but you’re happier, then I’m happier. Do you know what’s better than long term clients? Trust, respect, referrals and recommendations.

I may also keep my original client, because let’s face it, although you know what and why I am doing what I am, it’s still my full time job and you may still be better off focusssing on your strengths, but either way we both win.
